Rachel Chiu

Rachel Chiu was appointed to the Social Security Advisory Committee in January 2024.

Rachel is the Co-Founder and Director of Business Development at Spring Housing Association, a charity providing access to accommodation and support for people in housing need, and preventing homelessness across the West Midlands.

In this role she has contributed to policy and practice to improve standards and regulation in the supported accommodation sector both locally and nationally.

Rachel is a trustee and Chair for charities including almshouses and arts organisations.
